Bobby Allyn                         American University

 

 

Bobby is a sophomore at American University studying International Relations and Journalism. After reading Diet for a New America in middle school, he eschewed meat in protest of the atrocious realities of the industry. Since then, Bobby has been actively involved in the animal rights/vegetarian movement in his local community and beyond. This past summer he interned for the Vegetarian Resource Group (VRG) where he conducted research, wrote articles, and helped maintain databases. The VRG staff also compelled him into veganism. Bobby is currently a member of the American University Animal Rights Effort (AUARE). His other hobbies include human rights campaigns, independent publications, and mountain biking.
